Some sessions just feel like catching up with old friends and that’s exactly what it’s like every time I photograph the Hess family.

I’ve been capturing their photos for years now, and honestly, it never gets old. Watching a family grow in front of your lens is something really special. The kids get a little taller, their personalities get a little bigger, and somehow every year feels both new and familiar at the same time.

This year, we met at Franklin Park for their fall session, and it could not have been more perfect. The trees lined the path with that soft golden glow, leaves scattered along the ground, and just enough sunshine filtering through to give us that warm, cozy feel fall is known for.
