My favorite type of scenery is without a doubt, the mountains. Don’t get me wrong, I love a beautiful beach every now and again, but the mountains are what really have my heart. Luckily for me, the beautiful country of Dominican Republic has both of those beauties! The area of the country that I stayed in specifically had a big mountain and other rolling hills…

The last two weeks of January I had the incredible opportunity to travel with The Justification of Youth and Kids Alive International (KAI) to Caraballo, DR and love on the kids at the KAI care center. These sweet kiddos are filled to their ears with joy, and oh how it is contagious! That would seem normal, but if you only knew what their circumstances were outside of school, then it would seem mind boggling…

This school is going to serve as a trade school so that students can study to be a dentist or learn about technology so that they can better serve their communities in the future…

One year ago, I decided to buy my first DSLR camera. To justify the cost, I set a goal to completely pay off my camera by the next Christmas season. I had never shot on a manual setting before and knew nothing about getting proper exposure. All I knew was that I loved the feeling…

I’ve known Kelsey + Travis for quite a long time. I grew up with Travis (we went to elementary school together all through high school) and Kelsey and I were best friends in high school, especially after leading our student government as President and VP and cheering together for varsity football. Kelsey + Travis…

When Marissa contacted me about setting up her mini session, she was SOOOO incredibly excited!! But even more so, she wanted to make sure that during this friendship photo shoot, we celebrated their sisterhood in Christ. These girls truly do have a heart for the Lord and it is so evident through their…

Oh my goodness! I just can’t get over this tutu!! I got to photograph miss Paisley a few weeks ago for her 1st birthday, and she did so well! I’m such a girly girl, so it was really fun to incorporate tutus, bows, necklaces and more into this session. It was also the first time that I brought along props, so we got to try out some…
