On the coldest day of the year, my sweet friend Frankie and I went on a little photoshoot with each other (and by cold I mean that we only were outside in 5 minute bursts before our hands started tingling they were so cold!). We have this awesome relationship where we each share something with the other, whether that’s me teaching her how to shoot on manual or her giving me advice on my website. We love to take pictures of each other and have gotten the opportunity to do that a few times already this semester. We learn about lighting and posing together, so that we can both grow as photographers and friends. It really does embody the concept of #communityovercompetition as we are both so excited for the other’s business and photography in general. It is such a cool relationship and I am so incredibly excited to see where it takes us!
As I mentioned before, we had this crazy awesome idea to take each other’s headshots on the coldest day of the year… not the brightest idea, I know. BUT, look how they turned out!! I am absolutely in LOVE with these!! (insert all the heart-eye emojis here!!!) Not being able to feel my hands for an hour was totally worth it! Thanks Frankie!
