For my last spring break, some sorority sisters and I headed down to St. Petersburg, Florida for a week in the sunshine state with friends, laughter and of course, floppy hats! If you haven’t caught on already, I have a mild obsession with floppy hats… but I was able to convince my friends to jump on the trend so we all enjoyed them throughout the week. 🙂 We had an ocean view condo for the week, and we were able to relax while listening to the waves crashing on the shoreline. The ocean was just steps from our condo, so we really got lucky!
Everyday, we spent a significant amount of time relaxing on the beach reading a good book, dipping our toes in the water or taking an afternoon nap in the sun. This relaxing week was certainly much needed after an academically demanding semester and running a business at the same time! This chica needed a little break, and thankfully that’s was exactly what I got!
About halfway through the week, we decided that it would be a fun idea to take pictures by the pier, which was about a 30 minute walk down the beach. Let’s be honest… as soon as I stepped foot on the beach for the first time at the beginning of the week and saw the pier off in the distance, the inner creative in me just about exploded. I’ve been wanting to do a photoshoot by a pier for some time now, and I’m so excited that it finally happened! That dream isn’t really possible since I live in Ohio, but with the help of a Florida sunset, sweet friends and Madeira beach, we were able to make that dream into reality this week! This was so much fun, and some of my new favorite photos are in this gallery! I am so incredibly excited to share these with you, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! I love these pictures, but I love my sisters even more so leave them some love in the comments if you love them too!!
