Wow, what a busy + FUN weekend!! In honor of national donut day, John and I found a donut shop nearby and bought some to celebrate! They even had a buy one, get one free special! So if that’s not an awesome start to the weekend, then I don’t know what is! Plus, I think I found my new favorite donut shop, so I’m sure I’ll be making some trips there again in the near future.

Then, we took a day trip to the family farm to visit my grandma for the afternoon/evening. My mom goes every friday, so it’s been nice to be able to join her for the last few weeks! I absolutely love the farm and even wish I could live out in the country sometime! A girl can dream, right??

Saturday was the start of wedding season for me as I got to celebrate the marriage of John + Alex Nussman! Their reception was held at the University of Dayton basketball arena, and it was so much fun. Everyone was full of energy and they were all so friendly. I felt like family, which was incredible, and I saw a lot of familiar faces. Be on the lookout for their celebration on the blog this week!

Last but not least, my family finally celebrated my birthday (only a few weeks late 😉 ). My twin brother, Joel, was on a month-long trip to Thailand after graduation so we had to post-pone the festivities. We had a yummy lunch after church, opened presents, had cake + ice cream, and then we played Croquet! We’ve had this yard game for years, and we’ve played it more times this summer than I think I’ve ever played it before! And trust me, that’s saying a lot!

After a fun but productive weekend, I’m excited to get back to work this week and continue to grow this little business of mine. Thanks for following along!
