As a photographer, I am hired to take pictures. But really, it’s more than that. At the end of the day, I want all of my clients to feel loved. I want them to feel valued, important, beautiful and worthy. Sometimes in this world, those characteristics are hard to come by. Sometimes we feel so loved while other times we feel like we are crying in a corner by ourselves. By no means do I want anyone to feel that way, let alone my clients! Part of the heart behind my business is sharing the love of Jesus, and I believe that this can be done in so many ways. However, one way that I chose to do this most tangibly is loving on my clients.
I have decided that I will be very intentional about sharing my clients’ images on Facebook from their portrait sessions. One way that I can do this is by either sharing a sneak peek of their session before delivering their gallery or by sharing a link to a blog post. I’ve received a lot of great feedback from clients about having their day on my social media, so I want to create space for everyone to feel loved. The last thing that I would want to happen is for one client to feel like they are not pretty enough, not “ideal” enough or just not worthy enough for me to share them with my social media friends. Because, honestly, that is just not true!
I absolutely love all of my clients and one of the best parts of this job is sharing my love for them with you! I love posting client images and watching all of their family and friends gush over them. It is so heartwarming, friends, and I want that to happen with everyone. So, if you are ever worried that you aren’t going to make the cut for my social media, you are wrong (unless you don’t want me to share them or there’s a special circumstance)! I love my clients so incredibly much and want them to feel just as loved.
