I can’t believe that I’m actually typing it, but today is Ashleigh + Ryan’s day on the blog!! I’ve known Ashleigh for the last 4 years, and we were housemates in college. She has such a sweet heart and Ryan is so lucky to call her his bride. Ryan and Ashleigh are Miami mergers. In fact, they met on the first Saturday of freshman year, and the rest is history! <3

Ryan proposed to Ashleigh this fall back on Miami’s campus and before I knew it, Ashleigh was contacting me about photographing her wedding. This was something that we had always talked about in college, but 1) I didn’t really think much of it back then and 2) I can’t believe it is actually happening!!! We quickly set up a date for their engagement session, and made our way to Goodale Park in Downtown Columbus. These two were such naturals! They were so comfortable in front of the camera and posed themselves like they knew exactly what they were doing. And believe me, they did! We enjoyed our time together, and even caught some strangers snapchatting us as we threw leaves in the air and laughed to much for our own good.

Ashleigh has been such a loyal encourager of my business since the beginning. She’s read every blog, and has supported my business at every step of the way. It will be a privilege to serve her on her wedding day, especially since she’s marrying the man of her dreams. Ashleigh + Ryan, congratulations on your engagement! I know the Lord has some amazing plans for your life, and I am so incredibly excited to see how he uses the two of you during this next season of life.
