Something that I have dreamt of doing for the past year now was a styled shoot. I had seen so many beautiful shoots on social media, and I thought that it would be a great way to meet other vendors and possibly even get published. This summer, I actually started reaching out to vendors to start seeing if there was any interest in the Dayton area. Well, life happens and I had to put the shoot on hold.
Later in the fall, Monica from Monica Brown Photography reached out to me to see if I was interested in putting together a styled shoot. It turned out to be perfect timing, and our visions for what we wanted the shoot to look like were perfectly aligned. We started dreaming and planning for this shoot, and everything came together perfectly. We had an amazing team of vendors who were so generous to share their talents and products with us. Although it was in mid-November, thankfully we had beautiful weather and it wasn’t too cold.
Overall, we wanted to put together an intimate, joyful and colorful styled shoot. With the fall leaves still hanging on the trees, we were able to capture the last bit of color left. The rich maroons and oranges in the details were tied together with delicate peaches in the florals. The cozy bench made for a romantic dinner setting and the sunset was a perfect way to end the day. Everything came together beautifully, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing team of vendors:
