This past weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph two of my favorite people. I met Katy 4 years ago at Miami University through discipleship. She eventually became my little sis in my sorority, and we would share so many fun memories in college together. She was the friend that I knew I could always count on. She is filled with the spirit and is overflowing with wisdom. Then one day, she mentioned this boy named Alex. Little did I know at the time, that Alex would become her husband!! It has been such a JOY watching their relationship grow over the past two years. They are such a great model of a christ-centered relationship and it has been such an honor to capture it in its different stages. This is the third time that these two have been in front of my camera, and this time they are ENGAGED!!! We decided to do their engagement session in Oxford around Miami University’s campus. This place will always hold such a special place in their hearts, and we wanted to be sure to preserve those memories.

As much I love photographing weddings, I am even more so excited to stand next to Katy as her Maid of Honor! I love these two so much and want nothing by the best for them. As you can tell, these two have so much fun together! They are so evidently filled with joy it’s contagious. If you’ve ever been around Katy’s giggle, then you know exactly what I mean!
