While this post is in the “For Brides” sections of my blog, it may be a little bit more applicable to the future grooms out there! Men, if you are planning to pop the big questions any time soon, If at all possible,  highly recommend having your proposal photographed! There are so many benefits to having a professional photographer photograph your proposal.

1. You can ensure that you’ll have her reaction captured on camera! Honestly, when you are in the moment of your proposal, neither of you will probably remember what words were said, but there is a way to capture her reaction. After all, everyone who wasn’t at the proposal will want to hear the story of her reaction, so what better way to tell that story than through images.
2. You can have a mini-engagement session on the day you get engaged! One of my favorite things to do after a proposal is to do a mini engagement session. We don’t have to do a full session, but there’s just something about the joy right after an engagement that makes the images so special.
3. If you’re planning a quick wedding, you’ll already have an image to use for the save the dates! Short engagements are definitely on the upswing as far as wedding trends go. If that’s you, then you’ll most likely need to send your save the dates before you can get you engagement session on the calendar with your wedding photographer.
