This is the day you’ve been waiting for! Your senior session is finally here. By this point, we’ve picked out your locations, we’ve decided on your outfits, and it’s time to relax and have fun! Here are a few tips to keep in mind for the day of your session:

1. Make sure your nails are painted! Your hands will be in the photos and you want them to look nice and put together. Even if you don’t want your nails painted your photos, make sure they are trimmed and that there isn’t any leftover chipping nail polish.
2. Leave the hair ties at home. I am usually pretty good at spotting those things, but no one wants a black hair tie on their wrist in photos, so don’t even bother bringing them!
3. Bring a brush or a comb, as well as some lip gloss to touch up your hair and makeup after an outfit change. Especially if it’s a little windy outside, you’ll appreciate being able to comb through your hair every now and then.
4. Arrive on time! Because my sessions are later in the day, we only have so much light available. Once it’s gone, it’s gone! During busy season, I also often have back-to-back sessions, so we will not be able to add on additional time if you are late.
