Lauren’s springy senior portraits in German Village in Columbus, OH were absolutely divine! Lauren came armed with a stunning smile and killer outfit choices.  When planning our session, Lauren wanted that bright, springy feel, but Ohio had other plans for the scenery! There weren’t leaves on the trees yet, and the blooms had not yet sprouted up. This made German Village in the heart of Columbus, Ohio the perfect backdrop for our session!

I love shooting in German Village. No matter the time of the season, you are able to find the most beautiful backgrounds. Our first stop was a storefront.  These windows can often be passed by, but I loved the cream colored stone that really made Lauren stand out. 

Even though we had a tough time finding any blooms, we were able to find some gorgeous vines and greenery. The duo of vines and wrought iron brought an elegant, timeless look to Lauren’s images. 

After we got some adorable photos of Lauren’s stunning smile, we moved to a more classic German Village background – the red brick! The red brick houses and cobblestone streets make for really lovely, put-together senior photos. 

About halfway through our session we found some blooms! Just as the sun was setting, we found a beautiful, pink blooming tree. The golden sunset and the springy blooms were a perfect addition to Lauren’s shoot. We finished the day with some super fun walking photos that were a bit more urban in feel.
