People say, “Patience makes perfect”, and that was certainly the case with Alyssa’s senior session in Westerville. I often say as a photographer, I wear many hats. One of the many hats that I wear is “weather woman”. The morning of Alyssa’s session, the weather forecast was calling for rain. I looked at the radar and made a plan!
When we saw there was a chance of rain, we booked the Le Reve Chateau in Westerville, Ohio. Thank goodness we did, because when we showed up for our session it was POURING. The clouds were thick and black, and there was not a bit of sun in sight. Alyssa and I hurried inside and were able to get some really stunning indoor shots.
After we were confident that we had gotten all of the indoor shots we wanted, we wanted to move outside. Unfortunately, it was still raining cats and dogs outside. We decided to try to wait it out a bit. Just as we were going to pivot to plan C, the rain STOPPED and the sun came out. It was a miraculous 180!
The sun was out in Downtown Westerville and we were able to capture STUNNING senior photos for Alyssa.
