I had the opportunity to work with 2 amazing families during some weekday mini sessions at the beautiful Highbanks Metro Park. The weather that day was absolutely gorgeous giving us some wonderful lighting and colors to work with.
The first family I had the pleasure of working with was the Kahle’s. All 3 came in adorable color coordinating outfits. The burgundies and blues they were wearing really made the fall foliage pop even more. We started with some sitting pictures on a bridge then moved on to standing poses to truly capture the family alone with nature. Their baby boy was all giggles especially when he got to snuggle mom and dad alone for a few shots.
I then got to work with the Jones Family, a wonderful group of 4. They chose to coordinate in outfits of blue and tan that looked just lovely on all of them. Sister was ready for a few sassy poses to show off her cute boots and brother loved playing in the leaves. I was able to capture several different poses in a variety of different areas throughout the park.
I really enjoy shooting at Highbanks Metro Park and as always it didn’t disappoint. It offered us a variety of backdrops to take the Jones and Kahle family pictures on and whether they were sitting or standing, in trees or on bridges they turned out naturally beautiful.
I love doing mini sessions because the shorter time slot is perfect for busy families that need to get to soccer practice, dance class or just home for nap and Paw Patrol. I so appreciate these two fantastic families giving me the opportunity to work with them and when you need your family photos taken next I’m your girl!
