David braved the snow and cold during his Hoover Dam Senior Session. Although it was cold that day, the sun was out in full force making the snow glisten which added something special to the pictures.
David looked classic in his gray and tan outfit and white shoes allowing me to utilize so many different backgrounds. The Hoover Dam is very versatile and has so many lovely locations throughout, so the pictures never disappoint.
We started by taking pictures in the forest which gave us lots of large trees for David to casually lean against. He also stood in the trees making it seem as if he was at one with nature. I focused on the trunks of the trees during this part of the session to make sure to highlight all of the beauty that was available to us at the Hoover Dam.
Because David was unable to sit on the snow-covered ground, we searched for another place to allow us to change poses and found a perfect metal fence. We did a few more standing poses and then David playfully sat atop the fence.
After adding a coat, we found a beautiful gigantic pine tree to take a few more standing photos with. The pine tree added a nice pop of color and the coat added a slight change of outfit that gave the pictures a different dynamic.
I love having fun with my seniors during their sessions, so they have another precious memory to look back on and David and I had just as much fun as a snowball fight. He was a delight to work with and his contagious smile lit up the entire forest. I hope I can create memories for you and capture your senior session next!
