Creating this dark & moody set Ritual Zero Proof products was so much fun! Normally I specialize in bright & colorful photos, so when I had the chance to play around with something the complete opposite, I took it!

This set was a 2 light setup with flags on both lights to prevent spillage onto the backdrop. We didn’t have a darker texture for the background on hand at the studio, so I blocked the light & moved the background farther from the subject until it was lit to the color I wanted.

My favorite part about this set was the long, dramatic shadows. I think it adds so much dimension to the photos. The client ultimately choose a different lighter & brighter set, but I was so proud of these photos I couldn’t help but share!
