We were tasked with creating a teaser photo for Koia‘s launch of nostalgic cereal flavors, and I have to say I think we nailed it! Curious how this photo came to be? Stick around to find out!

The team at Beachwood Creative and I decided to hot glue our bowls of cereal together so that we could guarantee the “spilling cereal effect” out of the bowls. The bowls were glued together AND the cereal inside the bowls was meticulously placed for that splash effect. 🥣

Next we mixed up a liquid concoction (because that, my friends, is definitely NOT milk) with glue so that it had a thicker consistency and wasn’t as runny. This allowed our smaller splash drips to form a little easier and photograph better. 🥛

Finally, I photoshopped my favorite images together to create one magical pour (created through a variety of pouring techniques… pours, throws, and squirts, just to name a few!)
