Spring was showing off at Franklin Park Conservatory the day I photographed this amazing family. The gardens were bursting with fresh green leaves and golden evening light, creating the perfect backdrop for their session.
From the moment they arrived, I could tell how close they are. Each smile felt so genuine, and you could see the love between them in every pose and candid moment. The parents stood proudly in the center with their three grown children surrounding them, and I loved capturing how they naturally leaned in and wrapped their arms around each other.
Their outfits were beautifully coordinated with soft blues, grays, and pops of floral patterns that blended seamlessly with the spring colors around us. As we walked along the Conservatory paths, the family shared stories and laughter. I paused them under a tree where the light filtered through the branches perfectly, illuminating their faces with a warm glow. These are the images that I know they will treasure for years to come, portraits that not only show how they look but who they are as a family.
One of my favorite images from their session is the classic smiling portrait of them all standing together, looking so joyful and at ease. It’s the kind of photo that deserves a prominent spot on their walls or in a beautiful family album.
I am so thankful to have photographed this family during my Spring Minis. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do – capturing milestones, relationships, and memories that become a lasting part of each family’s story.
