Spring sessions always hold a special place in my heart, and this one was no exception. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this sweet family surrounded by gorgeous blooming trees and gardens. From the moment they arrived, I could feel how excited they were to capture these memories together and it shows in every single photo.

The pink flowering trees were in full bloom, creating the perfect spring backdrop for their family portraits. The soft blush tones of mom’s dress paired so beautifully with the floral outfit their baby girl wore, and dad’s light blue shirt brought a crisp brightness that tied it all together. They truly nailed their outfit choices, and the combination felt effortless and timeless against the gardens.

One of my favorite moments from this session was watching mom lift her baby girl into the air, both of them smiling and giggling together. Those are the kinds of candid, joy-filled shots that always become client favorites the images that remind you exactly how your baby felt in your arms and how her laugh sounded echoing through the spring air. Capturing their connection and love in that moment was so special.

Family sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. Babies grow so quickly, and seasons change before we even realize it. Freezing these moments into images they can look back on for years to come is the greatest honor.
