Well friends, it has been quite a while since I posted an update on my apartment! I’ve been living here for about 2.5 months, and it is taking so much longer than I anticipated to decorate this place. But, I can finally say that our combined living area is complete!! Woohoo!

My dad so graciously made us a mantle to go over our fireplace. Yes, that strange black box is an electric fireplace! We thought that it needed a little extra something to make it look more normal, so we decided on the mantle and I think it turned out beautiful! After waiting for what seemed like months, we also finally got our curtains hung too. As we go, we will continue to add in more personal touches (like pictures!) and other holiday decorations, but this will do for now. There’s so much natural light pouring into these windows, I just love it. Keep in mind that I am not a real estate photographer, so these pictures will just have to do! Enjoy!
