Another senior session at Inniswoods is in the books, and this time I had the joy of photographing Lyndsey from New Albany High School. I love when a session feels effortless and full of personality, and that’s exactly what happened during our time together.
Inniswoods has quickly become one of my favorite spots for senior portraits. Between the soft garden paths, the gorgeous blooms, and the way the light filters through the trees, it creates such a dreamy backdrop for photos. For Lyndsey’s session, we leaned into that softness and created a gallery that’s equal parts elegant and fun.
She started out in a silk pink dress that looked absolutely stunning against the flower beds. The way the pastel pink played with the soft florals made everything feel straight out of a storybook. Later, she switched into a floral spaghetti-strap mini dress, which brought a playful twist to her gallery. That outfit paired perfectly with the lush greenery and the pops of red roses around us. It was like she belonged right there among the blooms.
One of my favorite parts about senior photography is how much variety we can capture in a single session. With just a change of outfit or a slight shift in location, the whole mood transforms. Lyndsey’s gallery reflects that beautifully. It was timeless and elegant in one moment, then lighthearted and fresh in the next.
I’m always grateful when seniors like Lyndsey trust me to guide them through this experience. It’s not just about the photos, it’s about creating a memory in a setting that feels authentic to them. Sessions like this remind me why I love what I do and why I’m always exploring new places to shoot.
If you’re a senior (or know one) looking for portraits that feel unique, personal, and fun, I’d love to help bring your vision to life. Let’s make your senior year unforgettable!
