Another senior session in the books, and this one was such a fun and meaningful way to spend a fall evening at Scioto Audubon. Owen & Justin absolutely crushed their senior session, and golden hour showed up right on cue because it truly never disappoints.
Scioto Audubon is one of my favorite locations for senior sessions, especially in the fall. The open paths, tall grasses, and trees turning warm shades of gold and green create the perfect backdrop without taking attention away from the seniors themselves. The light during this session was soft, glowy, and flattering, giving us that timeless fall feel that photographs so beautifully.
We started the session with individual portraits, giving Owen and Justin each their own time to shine. This allowed us to capture their personalities separately relaxed, confident, and completely themselves. Individual senior portraits are always important because they highlight who each senior is in this season of life, right before everything changes.
After that, we brought them together for sibling shots, which are always some of my favorites. There’s something special about photographing siblings during senior year it’s a milestone not just for them, but for their family too. Owen and Justin were natural together, making the session feel effortless and fun.
To finish off the session, they brought along their sports gear, which added such a personal touch to the final images. Incorporating sports and hobbies is one of my favorite ways to make senior photos more meaningful and unique. These details tell their story and make the images feel authentic to who they are right now.
