There is something so effortlessly magical about a senior session at Alum Creek, especially when the outfits, location, and personality all line up just right. I’ve photographed Addie before and I am glad she choose me for her Senior Experience.

We started this session by the water with a laid back blue jean skirt that screamed summer. Then a beautiful white sundress that felt light, timeless, and perfect for summer. The way the fabric moved in the breeze paired so well with the soft reflections from the water. It was one of those moments where everything feels calm and natural, and you can really let your senior relax into the experience. Walking along the shoreline, laughing between shots, and soaking in that light made this portion of the session feel easy and fun from the very beginning.

For the second look, she changed into a stunning blue maxi dress, and this is where the session really came alive. The bold blue against the tall grass was such a dreamy contrast and added a little drama in the best way. This spot is one of my favorites at Alum Creek because it feels open, airy, and full of movement. And she was all about the twirls. Every spin brought so much joy and personality into her photos, and those candid, in-between moments are always the ones that end up being my favorites.

What I loved most about this session was how comfortable and confident she felt just being herself. Senior sessions are not about stiff poses or forced smiles. They are about celebrating this season of life and creating images that feel like you.
