Senior sessions are always special, but there is something extra fun about watching a senior truly settle into the experience and let their personality shine. Riley’s senior session was full of laughter, beautiful locations, outfit changes, and the things that make her uniquely her.
We started the session outside with one of Riley’s favorite pairs of Converse and a laid-back shorts outfit. It was the perfect way to kick things off. We spent time walking around, exploring, and having fun while capturing those natural moments that showed off her personality.
One of my favorite parts of a senior session is seeing how each outfit and location can bring out a different side of someone’s personality, and Riley’s session was no exception.
After her first look, she changed outfits and we continued exploring. Along the way, we stumbled upon some absolutely gorgeous brick backgrounds that added so much texture and character to her photos. Then we found a beautiful creek with water, creating such a fun and unexpected backdrop for her session.
Just when the session couldn’t get any prettier, we ended up surrounded by hydrangeas. The sun showed up, and so did Riley’s smile.
Those moments are always some of my favorites. Everything felt relaxed and natural, and Riley was having so much fun. Her confidence continued to shine as we moved through each location, creating images that felt beautiful while still feeling completely true to her. But we weren’t done yet.
To finish her senior session, we headed to a beautiful theater, and this part of the session was especially meaningful. We started with some posed portraits before making our way onto the stage to capture some truly amazing images.
I absolutely loved that Riley brought along pieces from one of the biggest parts of her life – her extracurricular activities and her love for theater.
She brought her theater shoes, a playbill, and a microphone, and those personal touches made this part of her senior session feel even more special. Instead of simply taking photos in a beautiful location, we were able to capture Riley in a place where she was completely at ease.
You could truly tell that the theater was one of her favorite places to be.
There is something so special about incorporating the things that matter most into a senior session. These photos become more than just beautiful portraits. They tell a story about who you are during such an important season of life.
Riley’s session was the perfect mix of laid-back and meaningful. From her favorite Converse and casual outfit to the brick walls, creek, hydrangeas, sunshine, and finally stepping onto the stage, every part of the session brought out something different.
And that is exactly what I love about senior sessions.
They are a chance to celebrate you.
Your personality. Your style. Your favorite places. The activities you love. The things that have shaped your high school years and the memories you want to carry with you into whatever comes next.
Riley, thank you for bringing your beautiful personality, your amazing smile, and your love for theater to your senior session. It was so much fun exploring, laughing, and capturing all of the moments that make this season of your life so special.
From Converse to center stage, your senior session was completely and beautifully you.
And I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Let me capture your senior year!
