Sometimes the best creative projects come from simply playing around with an idea and that’s exactly what happened when I decided to do a fun personal photoshoot featuring Liquid I.V.’s Strawberry Lemonade. As a photographer, I’m always drawn to bold colors and fresh concepts, so I knew right away this shoot had to be bright, lively, and bursting with summer energy.

To set the stage, I chose a vivid blue background. Not only does it feel refreshing and vibrant, but it also makes the pink tones of the strawberry and the yellow of the lemon absolutely pop. That contrast of colors immediately created a playful, eye-catching palette that reflected the flavor of the product itself.

Of course, no strawberry lemonade shoot would be complete without the real stars of the show—fresh strawberries and lemons. I used them as props, slicing and styling them around the packets to add a natural touch and bring the flavor to life. The fruit added texture, depth, and a fun visual story, making it feel like you could almost taste the tangy sweetness just by looking at the photos.

What I loved most about this shoot was the freedom to experiment. I got to lean into bold, creative choices, stacking lemons, scattering strawberries, and using unexpected angles to highlight the product. The combination of the clean, bright background with the colorful props made the Liquid I.V. packets stand out in a way that felt modern and fun.

This personal project reminded me why I love what I do. Product photography doesn’t always have to feel stiff or overly polished. It can be playful, vibrant, and full of personality. By keeping things simple yet bold, I was able to create images that not only showcased the product but also captured the feeling of refreshment that Liquid I.V. brings.
