What a way to kick off the season! I had the absolute best time photographing the Upper Arlington cheer team, and let me tell you these ladies brought ALL the energy, smiles, and spirit to their shoot.

The sun was showing off that day with the prettiest glow, which made every shot feel golden and full of life. Combine that with the girls’ nonstop smiles and contagious energy, and this session was basically a photographer’s dream.

Their poses? On point. Their teamwork? Unstoppable. Their spirit? Through the roof! Honestly, they made my job so easy—I just got to capture all the fun, confidence, and pride they have in representing Upper Arlington. Between the big smile shots, the polished cheer stances, and the little behind-the-scenes giggles, every moment showed off just how close-knit this team really is.

One of my favorite things about photographing teams is watching those genuine interactions in between the “official” photos. The quick pep talks, the laughs, fixing each other’s bows, it’s all those small moments that tell the story of their bond and make the photos that much more special.
