Kicking off my senior season with this session at Franklin Park Conservatory was the perfect way to start the year. As my very first senior session of the season, this shoot set the tone in the best way possible beautiful light, stunning surroundings, and a senior who absolutely shined in front of the camera.
Franklin Park Conservatory is always a dream location, and this session was no exception. Surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant pink and purple blooms, every corner felt like a natural backdrop designed for timeless senior portraits. The mix of soft florals and rich greenery created such a romantic, elevated feel that complemented her style effortlessly.
Her wardrobe choices were stunning and intentional. The crisp white outfits stood out beautifully against the colorful gardens, allowing her to be the true focus of every image. White is such a classic choice for senior photos, and paired with the Conservatory’s textures and colors, it photographed so clean, bright, and timeless.
In addition to her senior portraits, we also incorporated a mini session in her New Albany Cheer gear. This was such a fun way to celebrate an important part of her high school journey. Adding in her cheer uniform brought personality and school pride into the session, giving her a well-rounded gallery that truly reflects who she is during this season of life.
What made this session extra special was the relaxed, joyful energy throughout the shoot. From soft, natural moments to confident, expressive poses, she made every frame feel effortless. Starting the season with a session like this reminded me why I love senior photography capturing confidence, growth, and individuality in such a meaningful way.
This Franklin Park Conservatory senior session was the perfect blend of elegance, personality, and school spirit, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off the season. Thank you Ella!
