so when she asked me to capture her senior session, I was beyond excited. Being part of so many milestones makes senior sessions feel even more meaningful.
We started her session in Uptown, exploring all the charming little corners and textures that make it such a fun backdrop. Brick walls, storefronts, and sunlit sidewalks gave us a perfect mix of classic and modern vibes. The summer sun was glowing that evening the kind of golden light photographers dream about. It wrapped around Allie so beautifully and highlighted her natural confidence in every shot.
One of my favorite details from her session was incorporating her competition team jacket. Cheer has been such a big part of her high school years, and I love when seniors bring pieces of their story into their session. We snapped a few photos featuring her jacket, and you could just see the pride and memories stitched into it. Those images feel timeless, a snapshot of all the hard work, practices, competitions, and friendships that shaped this chapter of her life.
After Uptown, we headed to Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens for a completely different feel. The greenery, open spaces, and tucked-away spots gave us so much variety. We wandered, laughed, and found the cutest little pockets of light where Allie could truly shine. Between the summer glow and her effortless smile, everything just came together.
Allie radiated confidence, joy, and excitement for what’s ahead. Senior sessions are about more than photos they’re about celebrating who you are in this moment. Getting to document this season for her was such an honor, and I cannot wait to see where life takes her next.
