When you combine beautiful gardens, glowing evening light, and a senior with the brightest smile, you get a truly unforgettable session. Emma’s senior portraits at The Dawes Arboretum were filled with color, confidence, and so many stunning moments.
From the very beginning of her session, Emma brought such a natural confidence and joy to every photo. Her smile lit up each location we stopped at, and it made capturing her senior portraits such a fun experience.
One of my favorite things about Emma’s session was the variety in her outfits. She wore two gorgeous maxi dresses, one bright yellow and one soft blue, that looked incredible against the colorful flowers throughout the arboretum. The flowing fabric and vibrant colors paired beautifully with the gardens and added such a fresh, joyful feel to her portraits.
Later in the session, Emma changed into a stunning deep purple dress that created the most beautiful contrast with the greenery around us. The color popped in the evening light, and every photo from that part of the session felt effortlessly elegant.
As we explored different paths and flower beds throughout the arboretum, Emma moved so naturally in front of the camera. Between the blooms, the soft summer light, and Emma’s bright personality, it truly felt like every corner of the gardens gave us another perfect backdrop.
Senior sessions like this are always special to me because they celebrate such an exciting season of life. Emma is heading into a brand new chapter, and it was such an honor to capture these moments for her and her family.
Emma, thank you for trusting me with your senior photos. Your session at The Dawes Arboretum was absolutely beautiful, and I loved every minute of it.
